When I first moved to the neighborhood of Pilsen in Chicago, I knew I’d be eating lots of incredible Mexican food.  I didn’t expect a kick-ass BBQ joint.  Like with all BBQ, everyone likes it different, so there has been mixed reviews. But I must say, this is the best in the city, and maybe just maybe, in the world.  The Honky Tonk is owned by Willie and Beth Wagner, incredibly interesting and kind folks.  Last night I convinced my northside friend Hank Kupjack (world famous miniaturist) and mutual friend of Willie Beth, to come and eat good eats at the Honky Tonk… and we were treated like family.  I love my neighborhood…
