Last Saturday night the boys of Tuesday Night Dinner spoiled me with the most delicious meal that I can remember.  We celebrated spring with a cured duck Ruben Sandwich, a yellowtail sashimi, grapefruit green salad with pickled radishes, a flight of spring vegetables with fresh garbanzo beans, artichokes and asparagus, pork two ways over polenta,  fennel sorbet, and a lavender shortbread with cucumbers that tasted like melon…. and wine… lots of wine.  I cant thank Jeremy Leven and Derrick Phillips enough for their friendship and inspiration.  So excited to start working on the cook book!  Wish I took better photos of the intimate meal but here are a few anyhow.
